The Setting
The first setting is on their waship Argo II. They are about to arrive to the Roman city camp for demigods.Annabeth thoroughly describe the Roman city camp.Ringed by the Oakland Hills, the valley was twice the size of Camp Half-Blood.A small river snaked around one side and curled toward the center like a letter G, emptying into a sparkeling blue lake.
The setting that really starts the journey is Camp Jupiter or the Roman Camp. That is when Percy and Annabeth get reunited. They start revealing more of the prophecy. The setting is not real but he describes it thoroughly enough that you can picture the setting. The story takes place at a modern time which makesd it easier to relate to.
